I FOUND MY SON!!!!
ON APRIL 17TH 2007,
after registering with Idaho adoption agency in april 2006, I got a call from an adoption/reunion agent. She said that my son and his family was looking for me!! This call came at 8pm (Louisiana time), they were in Idaho (except my son, he was in college, in Colorado). Marian gave me SunDee's (Danny's A-mom) phone number. I called her RIGHT then!
SunDee and I talked for almost 3 hours. I felt as if I knew her all my life. I felt that we were both comfortable about the whole topic. I had a nervous/excited/happy feeling. And for her a sad feeling. 1st thing I wanted her to know was that no matter what SHE WAS DANNY'S/JARED'S MOTHER.
and I would not try to take her place ever.
ON APRIL 20TH.. I talked to Jared on line for the first time, later that day he called me. OMG! he sounds just like my brother!
On APRIL 28TH.. My mom, sister, and I went to visit Jared in Alamosa, Co. 126mi. from my Moms house!
We spent the day together, talking and getting to know each other. That night we went to see him in the play he was in. IT WAS ALL GREAT!!!

I'm so happy for both you and your son. I hope that this reunion will continue to be a positive experience and give healing to both of you.

I talked to my birthmother for the first time at the end of May and saw her at the end of June. It has been an overwhelming experience. Our friends say that we are radiate with happiness. I am 50 and neither of us believed this could ever happen. I'm so glad that you don't have to waste the years we did before celebrating.
