I updated my page, right around Valentine's day. Couple hour later I got a phone call from Adoption.com, They found my son on myspace.com. Funny thing was I had just asked to be my friend before the call. I messaged him, the next night we were on the phone for hours. One of the first questions he asked was: did I want to smother-mother him or be more like friend. Friends, he's almost 22. Since then we messaged or talked. We are going to meet this weekend. My husband and mother were a little worried because his adopted parents will be there(he's a little nervours). But I am not 16 anymore,my focus is on my son. I'll let you know how it goes.

That's so great! I found my biological sister on facebook. I didn't message her, though, because I don't know if she knows about me yet!

Glad to hear you found the person you were looking for - however, I want to make sure that you're aware - Adoption.com doesn't call people. We don't provide a locator server - its possible your call was a result of the registry entry you put on our registry

feel it out, you never know. I so understand the fears. I just knew nothing was going to stop me, either way. I have a younger daugther, not once I have not answered her truthfully about him, she's nervous too, they are so alike. go for it hun. and good luck
