I AM SO UPSET BECAUSE I SEEM TO GET NO WHERE ON MY SEARCH. I HAVE VERY VERY LITTLE INFO. ABOUT MY ADOPTION...I HAVE ASK MY ADOPTIVE PARENTS ABOUT MY ADOPTION THEY CAN'T REMEMBER. I HAVE POSTED ADDYS EVERYWHERE...I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY OR THE TIME TO GO TO COURT...AND EVERYTIME I MIGHT HAVE FOUND SOMEONE ON HERE THAT MATCHS MY SEARCH THEY NEVER E-MAIL BACK....
I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YEARS , AND I SIT HERE FOR HOURS AT A TIME LOOKING THREW SEARCH ADDS AND NEVER COME UP WITH NOTHING...

I BELIEVE THAT EACH STATE SHOULD GIVE US ADOPTEES OUR INFO. WHEN WE TURN LEGAL AGE. IT IS ONLY FAIR THAT WE ADOPTEES HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW ALL OUR MEDICAL HISTORY AND SO FORTH...IF OUR BIRTHPARENTS HAD THE RIGHT TO GIVE US UP OR TO KEEP US,THEN WE SHOULD HAVE THAT RIGHT TOO....

I am an original parents who absolutely agrees that you have a right to information such as medical history. Try not to give up hope and my prayers are with you.

I agree! You should be able to get the information. I am a bmom who was fortunate to find my son through adoption.com. He had registered years ago, but never checked back. With the info, he left I was able to locate his aparents.

Do you know where your adoption took place?

Find and join support groups near you (and - or- near where you were adopted) Network with them and "expand" the number of people looking for you
**this is an older list, and sometimes, for whatever reason, the groups may no longer be in existance, so if you can't reach one.......try others.
