I am looking for my husbands son. He was born at Davis North in Layton Ut or McKay Dee in Ogden Ut on 12/12/83 or 12/14/83. The birth mother wouldn't give him any info, so this is the best I have. I do have her name if anyone can help me. Thank you so much!!

sorry for the long delay, I had not had time to reply to you. His birth mothers name is Cari and the birth fathers name is James. it was an LDS adoption and I am hitting walls. And no, we do not know his name. Every thing was kept from James at the time.

I was adopted through LDSFS in 1985. I have been searching for my bmom for three years. It's very difficult in UT because the laws are pretty strict. Somethings you might want to do are apply for non-identifying information from LDSFS, and fill out a form (LDSFS can give it to you) and send it into the UT dept. of vital records. It's kind of like a consent to contact form, but that is not what it is called. It just puts your husband on the registry so if his son is looking for him, he can be found. LDSFS services told me they will never be able to give out any identifying information. So that is kind of a bummer.
