I was born 2/2/68 at the University of Iowa Hospital. My birthmom's name (at the time) was Dorothy Thompson. She had three daughters and their names were RuthAnn Morris, Julie Morris and Joy Morris.

At the time of my birth, Dorothy and the girls lived in Marengo, Iowa. Which, coincidentally enough, i ended up as a foster child who was later adopted.

My mom thinks that Dorothy might have taken her maiden name after divorcing the girl's father. But, it's just a guess.
She also said that Dorothy wasn't from Marengo, but more likely the Des Moines area.
She said that Dorothy and the girls moved to Cedar Rapids within that first year of my life.

I have searched every where for a Dorothy Thompson that would now be in her mid to late 60s. I have also searched for RuthAnn, Julie and Joy who now be around 48, 46 and 42.
I have hit the wonderful wall that we sealed adoptees all find.

I have a friend, from another site, that is helping me, however; she doesn't have any info other than what I have.

I posted in another thread that I am sending my info in to Iowa's Adoption Registry. I just need to get a certified copy from the state. Have it sent to me, so I can turn around and send it back to them (rofl @ government processes)
