Female living in Los Angeles, CA ..born in 1977 ...searching for foster parents believed to have lived In East L.A. Foster period was from the ages of 2-4 (so roughly '78-'81) ...first names were possibly Joe and Elizabeth...last name is possibly Alessandro...Alezando ...Alejandro ...something to that effect ...there was also a foster brother living there at the time..roughly the same age.

Please know that I have wonderful memories of those years (yup, I remember that far back)...and I would really like to thank you for taking me in and providing me with a better life. I went on to grow up in a fantastic home ...although I have never forgotten you ...I remember so much ...the rocking horse on the front porch ...the yellow plastic telephone....my first day of pre-school! ...and I even still have my brown animal blanket...please, if you're out there..I would really like to see you again.

I am not certain, but I have a vague memory of his name being Matthew...this has yet to be confirmed though. I recall he was of tan complexion...at the time I thought he was asian...although my adoptive parents tell me he was probably of Mexican / Hispanic descent or else had some spanish influence in him. They only met him twice and cannot be certain either way... though they agree he was naturally tan. Most likely he was very close in age to myself ...this would make him between 26 - 29 years of age today.

As for my foster parents, little is known...I am fairly certain they were between 40-60 years old in the 1970s. There is some indication that Elizabeth may have passed away. I have come to learn that they had countless foster children during the course of their lifetime..they were happily married for some 20+ years at the time of my adoption. Their foster children were of *all* race and all religion..most under the age of 5 ....although they, themselves were of either Catholic or strong Christian faith. As far as I can tell they had no biological or adopted children of their own. Furthermore, they worked mostly with Los Angeles County Childrens Services.

On a final note, when I was adopted in 1981, my foster brother was still living with them. I don't know if any of this helps at all ..but feel free to respond if you want. Good luck either way.
