i know this is going to sound strange...but i gave up my little girl almost 29 years ago..she was born on may 1 1974...i know not that strange for here... but i was talking with my mother in law...who said..she was watching somthing on tv.. 20/20 or somthing like that..with babara walters...and that babara walters adopted daugher was on... talking i guess about be adopted and such... but my mother in law swore she was my little girl because she looked just like me and was very tall at a young age,,,and many thing alike me...now mined you i never told my mother inlaw that i had a little girl or anything of my story about her... but some how she knew after seeing this..show,,,and that i needed to do somthing about it.. i said to her like what...now i have been looking for her snice she was 18. i am on just about every search reg..and still i find noone looking for me...i just hope and hope that one day like us all that shell look for me... i dont want to push her if she doesnt want to find me,,, but im there if she is... it was just strange..about my mother in law...hey you never know... thanks

Just so you don't wonder about Barbara Walter's daughter any more. Her info is she was born 6/15/68 in N.Y.C. and adopted from Spence Chapin Adoption Agency. I hope you find your daughter soon and being able to talk to your mother-in-law will be helpful.

thank you ..i was just hoping...but i know now she is not my daughter...thanks for the imfo....i been looking for so long and hope every day id hear somthing...i just want to know that shes okay and happy...shell be 29 in may... that a long time of wondering...

I can't be out in public without looking for anyone that might look like my daughter and I can't seem to stop. My car broke down so I rented a car and this company sends someone out to pick you up, a young lady came to pick me up and I had to try not to stare at her and I wanted to ask her age but didn't but I did check the name on the paperwork. I guess I won't quit this strange stuff until I meet my daughter.
You are in my thoughts, I sure do hope you find your daughter. best wishes and alot of good luck!

Hi Susan,I was reading this post and I am helping my Mother In-Law and my Husband to find the baby girl she gave up for adoption in 1968! Bmom and her brother say she was born in June around the middle of the month! And Adopted from Spence Chapin in NYC! Something just hit me when I read this, and I don't know why! Did you see the show? If so do you remember any other info from her adoption? I have more info on her ie: Hospital born at, Doctor, etc...Been searching a long time!!Any info is apprieciated!Many ThanksKimberly & Michael
