I am looking for my half sister. She was born at at The Edna Gladney Home, It has changed to Center now. In Ft Worth, Texas. Our mother said at first she way born on 09-10-1978 or 1979, now she has changed it to 09-09-1978 or 1979. I really am not for sure what day or year she was born. She is white, I think she had dark hair at birth. At the center they called our mother James. I was also given up at three days old. We have other brothers and another sister. I was adopted out of Catholic Charities of Houston. I was born 9/17/78. My birthmom was said to be 17 when I was born and my BF was said to be 19. What does your mom look like, and do you know her name or if she was a twin or something?? Contact me,

I was born at the Edna Glaney Home on Aug. 8th, 1979 at 11:38pm. I know you are looking for your sister and I am looking for biological family members too. I know this may seem far fetched but I think for both of our sakes, it is worth a shot. I know my Mom was born in 1962 and probably in the months of May-July of that year. She had just turned 17 when she gave birth to me, or so I am told. I was called "Celia" when I was born, I don't know if my bMom gave me that name or the nurses did. I was adopted by a family in NY that had already adopted my older brother. I am desperate for an answer, so if this is in no way a "match", please let me know immediately. I also understand that there are health problems and I do have a few, particularly with my stomach, intestines and I tend to get dizzy on occasion. I know my bMom had light brown hair, wore glasses, finished only 9th grade in school and weighed 125 lbs before she had me. Please e-mail back regardless of a "match" to let me know. I was reading your posting and I was born on 10-09-78 and have an older brother that was also adopted from gladney. I noticed the dates of birth that you posted and thought maybe it was turned around. You wrote 09-10-78. I am 10-09-78. My birth mother was 15 when i was born and I believe her birthday is in August. I'm not positive about the birthday, but let me know if you are looking for me!

I know now that my birth Mom's name is Sandra Lorrane Jones and I saw Brandon's posting here and at Tx Care Registry and his post with my birth Mom's name on that site. Brandon you have to be my half brother. I wrote a letter to Sandra and have heard nothing back but she has twin brothers. I also have twins in my family which was written in my family ''non ID' info from Gladney. I am trying to reach you Brandon. Please e-mail me.

Hi, I was adopted out of Catholic Charities of Houston. My parents did adopted a son, but after me. My brother is almost 2 yrs younger than me. I have never been able to find anything with my search. I know I was adopted out of CC, but everything else could have been altered. Do you have any more info on your sister?
