I have posted here before. I am an adult adoptee. I have been searching for my birth family. I have very little information to go on. My Amom really didnt want to talk much about it, and was not open to much info. I do know I was born in Butte, Montana on May 7, 1964. My Birthmother was named Sue. I was told she gave me up because she was unsure of my paternity and the man she was marrying would not marry her unless "she got rid of me". As much as this hurts and as much as i feel like she just threw me away, I would really like to know her and my family. The only blood relatives I have with me are my children and grandchild. If anyone around the Butte Montana area remembers anything please contact me. Have you registered here on the site? That might be a place to start - you can find info on how under reunion. You can also search to see if anyone might have registered from your bfamily. I know there are many other registries - have you checked with your state? I also know that there search angels - check under search and reunion - you will probably get a better response then on the bparent forums.

I hope you are able to get the info you need - I can't imagine ow frustrating it would be to not know your own story.

thank you. I have done the search and reunion thing but have not received a response. It is very frustrating not know who you are or where you come from. My adopted mother, whom i loved very much passed away and my abrothers andsister arent much help either. I just hope someone out there remembers her

Just an update.... I called the Montana State Vital Statistics Office and was informed that with my Birth Record, ID and a written request and $25.00 I can receive my sealed records.
