I was born at Madigan Hospital in Tacoma WA on April 11, 1970 (at least that is what I believe to be true). I was not adopted until I was two years old. I was in a foster home with another young boy who may have been my brother, but I have no way of knowing for certain. I would be interested in contacting a brother or sister if I have one. I may even have a twin sister, for all I know, as I grew up constantly being recognized by people I'd never met, who saw me at places I never went to.
I am just starting the search, and have no idea where to start. It's all very overwhelming to me. I want to know my medical history, and would love to know my geneology.
Any advice or help for a newbie?

Hi I am searching for a 1/2 sister that was born 4-21-1970 in Seattle or thereabout. I know very little, I do know her birthname and her parents name. If you have any other info let me know. I know all that I do from my dad, who I am not terribly close to.

to search the registry on this site look at the top of the screen for a tab marked reunite, click on that and select registry. Fill in all the details you know and search and check for matches. If you do not find a match then go back and try again with less detail - actual day of birth is often different because memories fail or knowledge is lacking etc...

You can also post your search as well on the registry.
