The agency I was adopted from sent a letter to my bbrother, in January, for him to contact them. He did, and was informed about me (his full biological sister who was also adopted). He had no idea I existed. He said he was interested in receiving additional information.

I sent him a general letter (through the the agency), right after they heard from him, and I haven't heard anything back since then.

It has now been 4 months and no news. I am going to write another letter with a little more detail, hoping he responds.

I was so sure I was going to hear from him within a couple of weeks of his receiving the original letter as he contacted the agency right away.

I have forced myself away from jumping everytime the phone rings thinking it might be news. I did this for 3 months and was driving myself crazy.

Just wanted to put this out there to a) vent a little and b) in case he should ever check this sight.

Any insights into what to include in the letter would be appreciated. I don't want to overwhelm him, but would love to hear from him.
