Just starting my search
I am just starting to look for my birth mother, and I really don't know where to begin or what to do. Any advice or help??? Please!

Have you registered with any of the online registries yet? There are some links scatteres throughout this board. Also register with ISRR.

First, make a posting on this web-site with your dob in the subject line. It helps people to go through the listings quickly. Keep the information that you post general-dob, city, state. Then, if somebody thinks they might be a match, they can private message you. It worked for me! I had postings on here searching for my daughter, and she contacted me 7 1/2 months ago.
