Heart

Thank you for starting this topic!

My three brothers and I are looking for our full sister, who was given up on or around April 1st, 1952 (her birthdate), by our mother before our father could marry her. This is a family tragedy like all the others posted here. To know more details, please read my profile page. Thank you, and may God bless all your endeavors.

looking for half-sister

Hello. I posted a thread back in 2004 with no such luck. I don't know if my sister knows she was adopted or doesn't want to know if she has any brothers or sisters, but I am trying again. Her name at birth was Tina Marie Bausch. She was born at Sharp's Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA on October 18, 1981. If anyone knows who this person is, then please respond.

Well it will be 2 years in Sept. since I found my half sister. We talk all of the time. (She hates being called a half sister, so you may see me mention her as my sister.) My half brother still won't talk to me. Our sister still won't help me find him. There must be a way to find an unlisted person. I know the approx. area where he lives. What should I do? She said she gave him my number, but doubts he'll ever call. Is it stupid of me to want to meet this guy that doesn't want to know me? Should I just give up? I've come so close yet still so far. Please give me some advice!

Sun Food 4 Thought!

I just wanted to say hello to all of you here at adoption.com

I have been through the process of looking for my siblings and have to say that giving up was never an option for me.

You see, I have a sister that loves being in my life and whom i talk to all the time, then I have a brother that barely gives me the time of day! But you see, sometimes its hard on the ones we are searching for! We want and sometimes expect more than what some are willing to give.

I would never look at it as giving up, just giving them space.

I will pray that your siblings come around and want to make the contact and be a part of your lives. I know how important it is, I have been there too!

Have a super night and I wish all of you the best ;-)

Take care,

Anetscat

Hi Everyone,

Our Russian friends adopted two 10y.o. boys, as it turned out one of
the boys has two brothers and sister who were adopted in US around
2004-2005 by same family. This boy wasn't adopted because he was in
special/correctional orphanage at this time. This boy, his name is Dima, was very close to his siblings, they were
taken from birth family at older age and he remembers his brothers and
sister very well. Dima is talking about them very often and he told
his adopted mother that when he grows up he wants to find them. His
mother wants to help him in this search, so they can write letters to
each other, maybe talk on the phone. She is sure it will be very
beneficial for his emotional life and also will help to motivate him
to study at school. She cannot obtain any adoption information
legally, because it sealed by court, so she is asking for help to find
Dima's siblings.

Here is the all information she has:
Orphanage #17, Moscow
Adoption time – around 2005
Birthmother’s name – Kuznetcova Nataliya Nikolaevna
Children:
1.Kuznetcov Sergey Mihajlovich 12/8/1994
2.Kuznetcova Ekaterina Mihajlovna 3/11/1996
3.Kuznetcov Mihail Victorovich 9/19/1999

their brother adopted by Russian family – Kuznetcov Dmitriy Mihailovich 6/10/1997

It is very important for them. Help please... "

ISO B-Sis

I've been searching for my half sister. Any help is greatly appreciated. Here's some info, not sure about all the accuracy. Mother's name Sandra, father's Steve. Any one of the last three names might have been used at birth; Van Winkle, Dean, or Kountz. DOB 6/29/1968. We all live in Beaver County. The birth and adoption were probably Pennsylvania, Beaver or Allegheny. Suggestions welcome!
Thanks again
Amy
