I agree with jack that you should never give up on something you want so bad.My mother alway's say's to me that if it is meant to be it will happen when you least expect it to.It is a very frustrating thing that we are all doing as you have your high's and your lows.Just take this journey 1 day at a time and hopefully it will all work out for each and every-one of us.

I wish your family the best. My father was adopted and he gave up 2 children to adoption. My searches have been almost a lifetime effort as I was 4 when my first sibling was adopted out. I searched for over 20 years for my sister alone. I posted all over the internet for as long as I could remember. Then, late in college, I realized I had done all I could for the time being. I knew that if either sib came looking they would find one of my MANY posts. My sister finally decided to look for our family just a few month later. After 28+ years we were reunited in 2002.

I understand the frustration. Sometimes it helps to just ease off of the search and either pick it up later or just be sure to keep your email addesses current in your posts (here and elsewhere) so that when she comes looking your family will be found by her.

Again, I wish you all the best. If you need to vent again, learn anything new or just want to pick up the search again later please know we are here to "hear" you out along your journey!

I Know How You Feel, I Too Feel Like Giving Up. I Thought That We Had Found The Son That I Gave Up For Adoption. It Turns Out That The Swab Test That We Had Done Said That My Husband Isn't This Boys Dad. We Were All Crushed. It Makes Me Want To Say No More. This Is The Hardest Thing That I Have Ever Had To Do.

ok folks i have a new light on my search i have found the adoption agency that did the adoption and they are going to post my info and also i found a search angel that is going to cross reference the birth certificate number for me so hopefully we find her soon thank you all for your post

be pateint with ur mind to check on each email to find who is that parents name or birth baby that u findout more than that u may find it or dont give up on urs or find them like me i am very pateint for that and i m impateint for that to search for my birth son in 21 yrs so far and hope to hear from him that is no luck! he born on JAN 20,1986 and pray for ur good luck or search for them i do too often or sometime every weekly depend we have chance to find them...! thanks,elizabeth

Thank You for all of the post and the reasurrance however my search ended March 19 2007 with a wonderful reunion and we are still in contact with each other i want to thank you all for the support that you all have given to me and my family
