There is one Ronald Braun on death index dob 12/24/38 and died 12/23/92. Otherwise go into People Search, put in the name and about 26 people with that name come up. You can pay $8 and get the printout on addresses and maybe phone numbers. Then you can write, etc. Good luck

Karebear,

Have you contacted your adoption agency and had them search the Mutual Consent Agency? Have you joined the Michigansearching group? Have you thought about hiring a Confidential Intermediary?

I relinquished in Michigan and am very familiar with the laws. My son found me because I had registered on the Consent Registry in Michigan. I am sorry that you were born in August of 1980 rather than September. The laws in Michigan changed then and your search would be much easier if you had been born after the law change.

Feel free to PM me.

Oh one more thing. Is there a middle initial listed? The Ronald listed in the SSDI has the middle initial "C"

Ronald C. Braun
born 24 Dec 1938
died 23 Dec 1992
State (Year) SSN issued: Michigan (1955 )

Does the info list any other relatives of Ronald such as his parents or any siblings?

Lastly I found an article about a Ronald Braun receiving the Tenderfoot award at a Scout Court of Honor ceremony in March of 1955. Not sure if it is your Ronald but lists a church and other things in the area.
