Theresa b.5/20/72 looking for bmom

I am searching for my bmother who was born 7/8/45.
I was born 5/20/72 in Suffolk County, NY. Any lists I can check for Suffolk births?

Have you gotten your adoption records? I just got mine - after 37 years. I had a different name on my original birth cert and my mom did not know this info so didn't know to tell me. The records also give you bio parents' names along with social history. I'm really glad I got this information as I now know that there is a history of breast cancer -bio gmother died at 44 and bio gaunt died at 46 and bio mom was diagnosed with BC at age 37. Once you have a name check classmates.com... you can at least get a picture of bio

Where did you get your adoption records. I'm from NY. The only thing we can get is info from the adoption agency that is non-identifying. I only have the dob and things that cannot id my bmom.

http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/index.cfm there is a list of county librariers on that site. May be able to get some information from them. Don't know if they listed births in newspapers in 1945 but could find out.
