Hi there. Someone I knew committed suicide, and the obit said that she "died at home". Hope that helps you some.

most of the time it will state in the obit that they died at home. If you know when they died and where do a newspaper search to see if it is listed in the newspaper as a news story. Like ruled as a suicide.

Try locating the "Record of Death" or "Death Certificate". Thatwill be public record.

I think what you probably want to know is more the circumstances of these persons death. The death cert may list suicide or accident or death my misadventure or some such thing.

The best way to find out is ask someone that knew them, if you can. I found out more about my birth family from a talkative cousin than I had anywhere else. Keep in mind this doesn't have to be a family member, just someone who was around at the time of the deaths. Sometimes when you want to know something, you have to get nosy.
