I have posted several messages on this website with some erroneous information. My nephew was born in Oct. of 1961 in a hospital in Danbury, Ct. My older brother is your birth father. That is all the info I have other than at the time of your birth your parents who were married lived in New Fairfield and you had two older brothers at that time. I believe you tried to contact your birth mother at some point and she refused the meeting, so sorry. I hope you will be found. Your Aunt Janis

have you made sure your birth date is the real one?...i've been told that some adoptive parents would change the birth dates as an "just in case" kinda thing

Hi, my name is Lisa I will be 31 on July 1st 2008. I was born in Louisville, KY and was adopted from Catholic Charities when I was a month and 10 days old. I met my birth mother when I was 18 years old. Her name is Karen Leigh Ashcraft. She said that she got pregnant when she was 15 by a guy from Fern Creek High School. His name according to her is David Nix. I have been told by her and her family that David was killed in a motorcycle wreck in Louisville but, have also been told other stories. They don't add up. I have tried to look for a death certificate with vital records and can't find one. I have also been told that he lives in Texas so who knows. I love my parents very much and am grateful that I am adopted but there is still that void in my heart for my birth father. If you have any information or can help me please email me back.

Looking for any birth family the adopted name Rodger McDonald birth number matched to adopted name in the birth book
His Cradle name was Melvin. On the adoption decree it states that his name was Melvin Leroy. He has been searching for his birth parents/family for almost 20 years with no luck. Lots of dead ends and crushed hopes. Edna Gladney gave him the following info: Birth Mother was 5'2", 134 lbs, age 18, English/Native Indian, Dark Brown hair, Brown eyes, Olive complexion, High School Education, Student with above average grades, talented guitar player and member of Church of Christ Texas. Birth Father was 6', 170 lbs, age 20, English, Brown hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, high school graduate, in a family business. Not much on the father except that rodger was told that when he was learning to speak that he had an English accent( mystery )he told adopted from birth,
