I'm glad this thread exists, but I would like to make a comment: there are 9 really long pages. Search does not always pull up individual posts or even threads. For example, some people enter in 8/3/1990 and others Aug. 1990 and some 9/90. Search is hard to use for this.

Would some sort of directory, searchable by year, be easier than a thread?

I know that there's a registry, but are people posting here and in the registry? (By the way, I read through every post in this thread and it took forever).
