Ask on this thread for someone to help you with your search. Do you have any information at all? Have you registered at any registry? Do you have a copy of your OBC or your non-identifying information? Have you contacted the agency that arranged your adoption? Do your adoptive parents have any information to share with you?

I know others have found tremendous help here from others who are trying to navigate their way through the beauracratic paper-work.

Good luck - and (just a suggestion) - type your post in lower-case script. It's easier to read and will be read rather than passed over. Capitals - in posting terms - are usually regarded as YELLING.

But hey ........nice sentiments expressed. Ones that your birthmother would love to read.

Regards - Ann

thank you for ur help:)

Thank you for all the information that u gave me. I thought that if I put my title in big bold letters then someone (hopefully my mom) would see it, but I thank you for telling me about it. I will start doing it in lower case letters. i know hardly anything about my **. I was only told that she wanted to keep me and could not, but she did keep me for two weeks before letting me go. My parents are deceased and they would, although very loving parents, would not give me much information on her. I was born in OK. I dont know where. How do I get non id information? You have been very helpful, thank you.

Chris

Do you know the agency that handled your adoption?

If so, you can call them about getting your non-id. This is a big step in uncovering clues to finding your birthmom.

I am in Oklahoma, and let me know if you need help with anything.

Wow Chris 70
That information from Beth will keep you going for a while!!!! The fact that you don't know your birthname or where you were born is not going to stop you finding your birthmother. The courts will know where your birth was registered, where the name change was made.

Searching, in itself, seems to create some stress in adoptees lives. Keep returning to the threads. For information, and for support. There are many who are walking the same path and know exactly how you feel.
