Hi My name is Davina and I am writing this letter on behalf of my Mom Janis. My Mother is 59 years old born in Brooklyn, New York. She was adopted br Dr. & Mrs. Ruchamkin of Brooklyn, New York. As I already stated the adoptive Dad was a Dr. and he also was the one to deliver my Mom. At that time (1947) I believe there was alot of cover ups with adoption, but we also feel strongly that there was even more that was able to be covered up because the adoptive Daddy was a Dr. Also, my Mom was actually born on December 11th, but they gave her the birthdate of December 14th since this was the day she was brought home. My Mom, her brother ( who was also adopted) and her parents lived in the Brighton Beach section of Brooklyn, NY. My Mom has tried several companies and research, but has come up with only one possible lead...We think her birth mothers last name was Green. Wow, how common is that last name !
