I was born on 1/20/68 in NY. Adoption finalized on 11/74. The agency was Catholic Home Bureau. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Irish decent. I used to have pig-tails. Supposedly my last name was Thompson. My adoptive parents are Cuban. I had a dark blue dress when I went to court. My lawyer was Gerard Durr. I live in FL now, and I went to visit NY a couple of months ago. An old neighbor just came up to me and told me that she met my bio mother. (I don't know if this lady was lying, but how did she know that I was adopted?) Anyways, she told me my mother had red hair. The lady said that she spoke w/her and asked why was she giving me up? My mother respond, "I travel a lot" My mother's eyes started to get watery and then said, "I have to get ready for my next gig". So the lady gave her some tissues, and then my mother walked away. After 25 yrs. that I have found out I was adopted. This is the first time I heard this story. I just wanted to drop. I haven't seen this lady for so many years and BOOM! She just came right up to me and told me. Please, if you know this story, I will be here.
