Hello everyone. I am 21 years old and reside in Los Angeles. I was adopted at birth and was raied by my mother and father (Karen and Sam) to this date. It wasnt until recently that I have been wanting to know and meet my birth mother. I know her name is Roxanne Powers. The name she gave me was Edward Powers but I was renamed Jeremy Markham by my adoptive parents. I dont know anything about my father and I dont mch care since the little knowledge that I know isnt good. I dont know where to start.

I would love some help and would appreciate any input, advice and assistance. God bless.

So are you just starting your search? You can and will learn so much from all of the wonderful people here on the forum. Are you searching for you b/mother then since you said you don't much care about looking for your b/father. How old was she at your birth and where were you born and where did the adoption take place

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I was born at Van Nuys Vally Presbyterian. I dont know how old my mother was but I believe she was in her early 20's. The adoption took place in Santa Monica, that is all I know. I dont know if it was an agency or law office. I will have to find that out.
