Talking I found my daughter

I found My Real Daughter
I am so thrilled,I was just about to lay this whole thing down, after being scammed over the summer.....just as I was taking all of my info off of all the web sites...something told me to look just one more time on adoption.com under the date and state I placed my baby girl...I have looked many many times and found NOTHING,,,,,I noticed a new member in the Aug 1983 born in Orlando Fl @ ORMC...Kari is her name I knew a few things only she and the a-mom & I would know,,,Like the exact day of birth, the agency we used I have about 20 or so pics of her when she was six weeks old, her b-weight...the first names of the a-parents...and so on...I just about past out when I saw her profile....so I e-mailed her and told her to e-mail me...and this morning she did...we exchanged info...and we are a match.... can you believe it? I spoke w/ her mom...she is sooooo wonderful.and Kari is so sweet,,,we are taking it slow, but are on a road that will lead us all to nothing but happiness...and get this.she has NEVER searched for me before...she registered on 12/3/04 just 1 day and I found her,,,,,,,GOD is so good,,,,
I want to tell my forum buddies...thank you I love you all and never give up,,,,,,and thank you adoption.com God Bless
Candie

Many blessings to you all on your journey....

CONGRADULATIONS CANDIE! Your post answered my question. I found my biological father in Berlin Germany just this past Friday, however, I originally located him in 1986. We lost contact after a brief exchange of letters. Since Friday, he has e-mailed me six times. He is absolutely thrilled I found him again. My question was: I wondered why this has brought him so much joy. Your joy over finding your daughter tells me that biological parents/children have a deep, natural bond that never fades. I, too, am thrilled I've contacted my biological father again. It is especially meaningful for me because I've never lost that bond to Germany (where I was born and placed in an orphanage). I've never really felt like I belong in the United States. Again, I'm very happy for you and your daughter, and yes, God blessed you. __Erika

Congrats

I don't really know you, I have seen you posting for a year or so though. And I just wanted to say I am so happy for you. And I wish you the best of luck. You deserve it.

Thank you very much for the well wishes. Finding my father has certainly added a very intriguing aspect to my life and I'm looking forward to getting to know him. I'd like to add that I feel he has a lot of courage to want to build a relationship with me. I can imagine how parents who give up their children suffer from all kinds of feelings that would stop them from responding to a child who had located them.---especially in my situation. I developed Dissociative Identity Disorder (MPD) as a result of being in the orphanage. My biological father knows this. Even though I located both of my parents (they divorced in 1968), my mother did not want any contact with me and I respect that. I have never attempted to directly contact her.

plastiktrance,
Thank you.
I do wish you well, Kari & I are talking quite a bit,she is how ever right in the middle of her exams,,But she is a tropper.
I am very blessed....I did for many years have a lot of regret, but after meeting her a-mom..and know just how wonderful Kari turned how,,,,I now have NO regrets,,,,Kari now has.. not only the mom who raised & loved her, she now has the b-mom who carried & loved her....she is a much loved child,,, I gave Kari's mom my heart when I gave her the gift of Kari...and now we can enjoy the Gift that the Lord blessed us both with,,,,
Love Candie

Hi Candie,
That was so sweet. Now you have a new friend in the mom who raised Kari. Plus Kari! It's very special that the 3 of you can have a relationship. Kari's adoptive mother must be a very special person as well.
Take care,
Erika
