Betty Jane Kastriades

I am looking for my birth mother. Betty Jane Kastriades. She was married to Rudy Juarez. I received my adoption records from Orange County, California. If anyone knows of this person or has any advice on how to search for someone I would be very grateful. I am a male twin born on 1-1-1968 in Santa Ana.

Talking this might help...

Perhaps they are related

Kastriades, Paul C
1693 Dockside Ln
Camarillo, CA 93010-6008
805-484-3320

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kastriades, Anthony
25585 White Oak Dr
Hemet, CA 92544-5365
951-927-6315

Also try this link for Juarez in case she changed her last name (did not put the names because there were too many)

Anyway, you might also want to try adoption.com and http://www.isrr.net/
Good luck with your search and God bless

Ines

Smile Family Found

I found part of my bio-family today. I was contacted by Ellen Kastriades in North Carolina. She is my aunt from my grandfather's sister. She is going to contact my bio-mother's brother to find out where she is at and if she wants to make contact. The half the family seems to be on the east coast and the other half on the west coast. The east coast side hasn't had a lot of contact with the west coast. I'm hoping that my uncle Paul (the brother of my mother) is as happy to hear from me as my aunt Ellen was. I'll keep posting when I find out more. Thanks for all the help!!

Birth Father doesn't know I exist

Hi just found out that my birth father does not know I exist. My birth mother passed away in 1997. I have very little information on my birth father. He did not sign my adoption paperwork, so I don't have a last name. I was born in 1968 and adopted in 1969. Was it even legal from my birth mom to give me up for adoption without my birth father's consent? I was adopted in Orange County, California. Yikes

Back in the 60's the nfathers were not even considered relevant by parents (of the nmother),the agencies, maternity homes, lawyers, etc., handling adoptions. No law existed that the nfather had to be contacted, on the contrary the powers-that-were kept many a father at bay so as not to influence the nmother to keep her child or that possibly he may have even wanted to marry her. That was the 'Baby Scoop Era'....

My birth date for my twin brother and I is January 1st, 1968. New Year's babies. The limited information I have on my nfather is that he was in New York at the time. His first name was Jeff and he had been in the U.S. Army. I don't know if he was still serving or not.
