Sealed tight-HELP!

My petition to the DC court has been granted. The CFS in DC has permission to look for my son, Eric Evans at birth. BUT the Pierce-Warwick agency only filed by adopted name. WE DON'T KNOW HIS ADOPTED NAME#*!

I am so bewildered. I did nothing WRONG. I had a baby and I have been looking for years now. To get to this point. To get my petition granted and to find out SLAM! - The door is shut.

Frustrated and anguished.

Post suggestion

I did a quick search, and you already have a post on the registry, right? I just want to ensure it is you. In this registry post, you have this blurb: "Pediatrician, Cheston Berlin told me about you and how you are tall, smart and have a good sense of humor. Need to see you. We all look forward to the day."

So ... the pediatrician by default must know his adopted name, no? Have the CTS bring the court permission to the pediatrician and try to get the name?

Also, I read the blurb that you got an email back in 1994 and no luck from there. Can you post all of the info you had from back then? Post his email address at the time and any other info he provided. Many of us are well-versed in finding people, and even a little info is worth a shot, no?

Closed tight DC adoption

You are the second person to mention getting the letter to Dr. Berlin. As you say it's worth a shot.

Thanks so very much for all your attention and advice.

Post glad to help

And please do post the old email address you got back in 1994. It still may be traceable with some work. And if he signed it with a name, include that too.

Eric Evans' information

http://registry.adoption.com/records/182425.html

is where he is currently posted.

original posting had a contact email 21Nev012@oal.com. We contacted aol with a reporter's help but they could not give us any info on a current address or forward a message to him at the billing address. In fact they said the address wasn't in their records any more, it was so old.

Someone from Metro registry did a search for a last name Nevo and found one Steve Nevo in SC. As you can see in the current posting the birthplace says SC but the message clearly says it's him as he was born in DC. When I did a little hacking in 1994, I found that the original message was posted from SC location. South Carolina....military?...

Anyhow, Stephen Nevo's phone is no longer in service and there is no forwarding.

I hope that any of this helps you, gives you ideas.

I called the pediatritian today. He said he'd talk with Children and Family Services in DC if they call him. revansca
