Birthfathers Who May Not Know About You !
If you were placed for adoption through the DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN & FAMILIES in the state of FLORIDA:
It is possible that your birthfather may not even know you existed ! Birthmothers had the right to give a child up and not notify them if they were not married.Therefore there rights were relinquished right along with the birthmothers. |

I hadn't thought of that yet! I've been thinking forever that my birthfather knows about me, and he probably doesn't.
How do you get names without going through the birthmother? Maybe I should just do it that way. Thanks for the insight. Katy |

That is so true for alot of states, I was born in DC,and I JUST FOUND MY BIRTHFATHER!!!..he had NO IDEA that I existed or that my birthmom was even pregnant with me,,the social worker was the one who got in touch with him,,he is excited to meet me,as I am him,,,hope to reunite within the next week !!!!!
