I am a bmom in search of her bdaughter born 6-6-71 in Richmond, VA.

Bmom searching for my daughter born 7-30-86, Pennsylvania Hospital, Phila., PA. Name at birth was Stephanie Jo. Went through Catholic Social Services in Langhore, Pa. Praying to God every day that she wants to reunite with me as much as I want to with her. I think about her everyday. I am so glad that I made the decision to hopefully give her a better life than what I could give her at that time, but I am soo scared that she will hate me for that decision. I hope I am wrong and everything works out great. The worst part is that Pa. law will not let me contact her at all. Everything is sealed and I have to wait for her to contact me. I just hope she loves me and misses me as much as I love her and miss her.

Prayer and patience is what is keeping me going at this point.

Any other suggestions, that might help things go a bit smoother for me. The stress is so bad right now that I have broken out in hives which I have never had in my life.

Stressed and hoping at the same time.

The first thing that I would do would be to register with the ISRR.

Then I would post on as many sites as you can find. There are tons out there.

The entire search process is an emotional rollercoaster with lots of highs and lows. But what do you have to lose?
