Can a search angel help me?
I'm looking for my birthmother Kathleen Montgomery. She posted a thread in 1999 looking for me. There wasn't much info on contacting her. I do know she moved to Indiana and I have a sister. She is probably a half sister. I'm very upset with myself for not finding her thread sooner. It's now five years later and I have know idea if she is still looking for me or if she even got the email I sent through the contact option in the thread. She left no information and adoption.com will not give me her email address that was given in 1999. Knowing she was looking for me and I have a sister or half sister makes me extremely happy but to have no way to find them is very painful. I've spent hours on the internet since I saw her post looking for me. I don't know what else I can do to find them. Please help.

HAVE YOU TRIED OTHER SITES? THERE ARE TONS OUT THERE. MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO POST ON AS MANY AS YOU CAN FIND. HAVE YOU REGISTERED WITH THE ISRR?
GOOD LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH, BARBARA |

Have you tried Anywho.com? I know it involves some phone calls but I typed in her name and came up with 5 matches in Indiana.
Also have you checked other sites or with the agency that handled your adoption? She may have contacted them also.

In all this - I think I may have stumbled on to something regarding adoptions in Michigan back in the late 1930's and early 1940's - If you were adopted then - please contact me I've got questions!! |

Hi,
I think you should try asking people about this website. Also just looking at Peoplesearch on Yahoo's site found about 7 matches. That would all be worth some sort of call (or pawn the calling off to a friend to do for you) to see what information you can find to narrow down your search. I'd def. register with other places but don't waste time thinking she's gonna find you. I'd also suggest you get on the Indiana registry as well, they might have her registered there (if she posted here then she's got to be curious about finding you). Good luck! Tracey |
