Anyone ever hear of or use Locaters Plus to search for birthfamily??

Hi..
Has anyone ever heard of or used a company called Locaters Plus to do their searching for birthfamily?? I'm thinking of doing this, but, would like more information if anyone has any...good or bad..I'd like to know before I spend money on this...I'm just getting tired of dealing with "red tape" searching for birthfamily....
Thanks.......

.........Don't know about Locaters Plus, personally. But you're doing the right thing - asking around for recomendations of this search company. Go to some other adoption sites and post as well. See what kind of feedback you get. Do a google, dogpile, ect ect- see what comes up. Check with the BBB too.

This link might be of some help too.......

look at the searchgurus post for info on using a professional searcher- very good guidelines!

I used a PI that had a NO find- NO fee policy. If she couldn't locate with current, and correct contact info- I paid NOTHING. Not a cent. All info I had to give her to begin the search was "non-identifying'.

Happily, I got it all- the whole 9 yards- no conditions, no qualifications, even info on sibs, and extended family, including ex's. It took a little less than 3 months.

What's going on in MD now with your search?

I have my OBC!! pfffffffft!
I missed her, I missed my siblings, I missed the connection, the identity, the ethnic background, the medical history..... I lost something very important in my life for 40 plus years. I am thankful to finally have all that back

Locaters Plus

Thanks for the input..I'll check out other web sites and see what I can find out...I hope they are on the up and up...It's just frustrating getting nowhere with the court systems....This is sort of a last resort..
Thanks!!
