nothing even close!
I am getting so discouraged. I have posted on numerous sites for information. I can't find anything even close that is worth investigating. Was I the only female born in FL on 7/4/64. It seems so! My 40th bday is just around the corner, I have been searching for over 15 years, you would think there would be something out there to check into. It is so frustrating to keep hitting the brick walls. The only thing that keeps me treckin' on is reading the posts in these sites about the reunions. Sorry for the outburst, just needed to vent somewhere.
Congratulations to those who have searched and found, Good Luck to those who are still searching and don't give up.

(((hugs)))
I am sorry you are getting discouraged. Are you able to get your non id? The searchguru told me to start there. Do you have any information at all, you could possibly get a concent to contact form through social services in your state. I know I am just as frustrated, some friends here just had to get me out of a bad mood, it is so hard. Have you been able to check into the birth index in Florida? Someone helping me found me by my birth name which was very weird to see myself at Hanna Johnson instead of Heather Preston, but try that. Please take a look at any info you have, a name, city of birth, hospital, case worker.... contact the searchgure if you already havn't and good luck to you, I know it is so hard.

HI!
Do you have an adoption record search agency in your state? In Wisconsin there is one that is run by the state. I contacted them and they were very helpful and their fees were very reasonable. Have you contacted the agency through which you were adopted? I agree non ID would be a place to start but be aware that not everything in them may be true. I have been in reunion with my many birth brothers and sisters for 3 years now. It is wonderful! But it too took many years of searching. (Partly because I didn't know what was available.) Best wishes on your search and I wish you a wonderful reunion. Snuffie |
