my mother was 30 years old when she had me and did not tell anyone that she was pregnant. My father and her met overseas and he went back to the states to marry an ex girlfriend because she was pregnant. She never told my father she was pregnant with me. My mother also had twin brother and sister. This is what was in my non identifying information thru family & child services.

the law is not fair`
I just don't think the law is fair to adoptees....But..for medical reasons, I'd think people would be more responsive...My CI sent 2 letters to birth father and he blew them off..and..he's in the Frederick, MD area...Birth mother has been dead for 20 years..
But..that's just my opinion... |

Adoptee searching for birthmother, 10/19/1969
Searching for birthmother. I was born on 10/19/1969 in Washington, DC. I'm told the adoption was handled through Catholic Charities. The lawyer that handled the adoption has since passed away but his office was located in Annandale, VA. I was released to my family in December of 1969, I think December 9. I understand that my original birth certificate has a name of Baby Girl.
