can you please help me?
I need to know where to get help finding missing kids. They were 3 and 6 months when tookin. Don't know if they were adopted out or not. Trying to help my sister find her to sons They were tookin from uncles house in 1981 From covington Ky They were both born in Ohio.I just found out about this 2 weeks ago. Because my sister left the State because of the heartbreck of losing her kids. I looked for her for along time. the only way she was found was my uncle passed away and he left a house that had to be sold and split between all of the family . so the lawyer that was handleing it hired a private investigator to find her .But we dont have that kind of money to do the same for her kids to be found. It was the happiest day of my life to get a phone call from her. I missed her so much. i would like her to get a smile on her face the way i did when i got to talk to her again. and finding her kids would do it. She is stuck back in 1981 if you know what i mean. She just stoped living her life. She don't know what a computer is or a dvd player is or anything. all she does is goes to parks and feeds ducks. it is so sad. Her to boys one was born on 4-29-78 and the other was born on 4-21-81 Born in Cincinnati Ohio One at Good Sams Hospital the other one at Universty Hospital Last edited by needstofindyou : 05-05-2004 at 12:04 PM. |

i would assume the state would have something on that. if the state took the children because of neglect then im not sure if they'll give too much info but i don't know the whole story. I would start with the state either Kentucky or Ohio and get some non-id info at least to see if they were adopted out. You know the last known names? that might help

Searching Resources
Welcome to the Search and Reunion Message Board!
If the State of Kentucky facilitated the adoption these resources might be helpful: Recent changes in Kentucky’s law now make access to some information easier. Motivation to search varies for each individual. Under Kentucky’s current law, the Department for Community Based Services is able to conduct birth parent searches and provide certain background information to adult adoptees, birth relatives, and other professionals in the field of adoption. Non-identifying information is available upon written request form the requestor. Identifying information is available only if the adult adoptee (over 21 years), birth parents, and birth siblings each consent. All requests for information from adoption records must be submitted to the agency that placed the adoptee or to the circuit court that finalized the adoption. For more information, contact: Kentucky Department for Community Based Services 275 East Main Street 3C-E Frankfort, Kentucky 40601 Phone number: 502-564-2147. For questions regarding Kentucky adoption related information and records: Commonwealth of Kentucky Families & Children 275 East Main Street, 3CE Frankfort, KY 40621 (502) 564-2147 Fax: (502) 564-9554 Requesting Non-Identifying Information: Non-identifying information is available to adopted adults and adoptive parents of a minor. Requesting Identifying Information: Adopted adults age 21 or older can petition the court to initiate a search for the birth parents. If the Department is unable to locate the birth parents, the court may or may not open the records. Pre-adoptive birth siblings may search for each other through the Department if they are over the age of 18. Birth parents can file consent for the release of identifying information. Providing Information: Birth parents or birth siblings can request that information be given to an adopted adult or adoptive parents of a minor about medical or genetic conditions that may affect the physical or mental health of the adopted adult.
