I was born Nicole Thomas. I only caught a glimpse of my orginal birth certificate, but I know woman name listed was Sharon. I was born at 10:59 Staten Island hospital. I was told she was 16 at time of my birth.
My adoptive parents are now deceased, and my parents oldest children do not have anything to do with me. From what I was told they were not happy about my mother adopting because she was already 48 when she adopted me.
It has been a lonely hall I have no family now at all, except my children, my husband left me for another woman and I feel as if my life is falling apart. I have very few friends and I now choose to find my orginal birth family and at least start a relationship, maybe this will end all the feeling I have of lonliness by just finding who I am.

If anyone knows who she is I would be glad to know.
I was fostered under Louise Wise Agency, and adopted though them. But from what I heard about them falsifying information I do not even know if that is her real name. I did write them a letter asking about non identifying info so hopefully I will get a response .

I have actually applied to almost adoption website I could think of. In city of New York they actually have a large book of listings of births in new york and the 5 boroughs. I searched that book that ame out on 1972 of every female born in NYC and my name was not listed.


This leads me to believe that my info or birthcertificate with louise wise agency was a phony. I ahve researched evry avenue I could think of including have a friend who worked in hospital actually go through micro-fische to check back records. Nothing the last hope I wrote to Louise Wise Agency I got an email from them today advising me my case was sent to a staff person who handles these cases but gave no name. Hmmmm. funny
