I was 17 years old when I had a beautiful baby girl on June 27, 1976 and gave her up for adoption. I regret that time in my life and wish I had it to do all over again. Then I would have a beautiful 27 year old daughter, whom I named Kathleen, by my side today. If you were born June 27, 1976 in New York City (Manhattan) and adopted by a family, possibly in New Jersey, and the adoption was handled by Stanley Michaelman and Renee Gusman . . . I may be your mother. You were born 7lbs, 7oz and I believe you were 17 inches long. A beautiful little girl with light brown hair and blue eyes. You were jauntice, and had to spend a few more days in the hospital. I was staying with a couple other girls who were pregnant at the same time, all there for the same reason. One girl was Barbara, who was also from Chicago, she came back to New York and got her son back. The other girl was Maria Damiano, from New Jersey. I believe she did eventually keep her son. I think our apt. was on 56th street above an Italian restaurant. Eventually I found out that Stanley Michaelman was selling our babies on the black market. I tried to get you back before you were a year old, but was not sucessful. Please let me know if you may be Kathleen Ann. ![]() |
