Question ISO ** I was born 4-1-1964 in OKC, OK

I am searching for my birth mother. I was born at University hospital in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. My adopted parents were Robert & Helen Sellers, they lived in Stafford, Oklahoma and then moved to Sayre, Oklahoma where the adoption was finalized at the Beckham county courthouse. My parents lawyers were Meachem, Meachem, & meachem. My birth mothers name is Emma Jean Nunn. It said she was single and I was born out of wedlock. The birth father was unknown and unable to be ascertained. I have pictures of my birth mother and father. My adopted mother had them in an envelope.

You might try going to www.switchboard.com and putting your mother's maiden name in there with OKC. I am in OKC, quite a few listed in the phone book and on this site as well.
Have you tried the OK Adoption Reunion Registry?
Go here for more info: www.okdhs.org/adopt
If there's anything I can do from here in OKC, let me know by e-mail : skylene_r@fullnet.net

Thank you, I am trying those also. I guess it will be a long drawn out process. My brother (adopted also) found his birth mother just last week. He posted and she called him 20 minutes later. It was a miracle. she had been looking for him too. Thanks for all your help.
