foriegn adoption

I sure hope you can help me, I have medical reasons for finding my bmom. I was born 9-21-54 in Quebec City, Canada. I am a twin, we were separated at adoption. I was told in 1986 when I made a trip up there that she (twin) died but I just do not believe the woman. Where is the death certificate? It was not ever sent to my adoptive parents and every time I have tried to find out where she is I get the brush off. I think they may have given her to another family. anyway I want to find my bmom and or bdad also. I have had a good live, I just never felt like I belonged. I need to know my roots. I have felt like half of me is missing my whole life and would cry myself to sleep every night as a kid. Apparently the connection twins make in the womb is very powerful. I have some odd medical conditions that my docs cannot figure out so they are all urging me to find my birth parents. My parents in Kansas went thru the Catholic Social Services. I believe my orpanage was called La Creshe. I am not sure of the spelling. It was a retirenment home for nuns in 1986. It is a museum type place now.sorry this is so long,Rene`

You might check with member "Terry23" on this website who has just completed his Quebec search. You can Private Message him for some information. I sure Terry can give you some helpful advice based on his recent experience.
