Reunionregistry.com -- What gives????

I was wondering if anybody knew what was up with www.reunionregistry.com. None of their phone numbers are working and you can't register your information with them...I even tried to email them, but my email was returned.

I found a potential match and I'm dying to get my info. into them.

Any help, insight, would be appriciated.

I saw that web site two nights ago and there was an area to click on to register but I decided not to. From what I saw of the site it seemed to be working. Can you get into the site at all?

I just tried to get to the site by typing in reunionregistry.com but it said page cannot be displayed.
I went to the MSN home page and typed in reunion registry in the search box and it brought it up. I was able to get into the site that way. Good Luck.

Thanks you guys, but the problem isn't getting to the website. You have to register in two ways, 1) Account Information, and 2) Registration Information (this is all the information you may know about your adoption so they can match you up if you find a match by searching).

My thing is that every time I try to fill in the Adoption Registration information the submit button takes me to a blank screen.

When I tried to email them, my email was bounced back to me, saying that the email was indeliverable.

And there are two phone numbers on the site to contact them, neither of them work.

My problem is that I want to see if the match that I found is my birthmother, but I can't get ahold of the people who run the site.

Just wanted to let you know that I just sent off an email to the webmaster to see if I get a bounce back...I also asked about the phone numbers and when they plan on getting the service back up...

If the email doesnt bounce, then maybe at least I will get a response

I went ahead and registered, just to see if it would let me.
Everything went through fine and I even filled out the adoption registration information and it went through. Everything worked for me, maybe try it again and see what happens. Good luck with it.

I also registered, and everything seemed to work just fine...seems like this is an issue with the match process. My email has not been bounced back...so thats a good sign.

I did link them to this thread, and I hope they can answer the questions!

Just a heads up....the problem isn't getting registered, it is actually being able to contact someone who is. I have been in the search and reunion game for quite some time and not one person that I have encountered could get through. Nothing but complaints and problems there...

Okay, I went in to fill in the "Adoption" Registration again (diff. than the Member Registration).

I put in only the required information, and I was able to register. There must have been something I typed in the detail that I did wrong...weird. Now that I've got the information established, I guess I'll just go in field by field and update the info...try to get in as much as possible.

Thanks for your help...it is still weird to me that neither of the phone numbers on the site worked.

And FYI, I resent an email today, it hasn't been bounced back yet...but it took at least 24 hours for my initial emails to be bounced back.

Thanks again all who responded...I'm totally shocked to get replies...it seems like there are alot of boards here for people to read...glad my post got looked at...it was my very first post BTW.

One more update....

My adoptee information is all updated!!! It seems as though for the adoption age it only wanted to take numbers....well I was only 3 months old, and it won't take 3M. Go figure.

I did submit my Inquiry, so hopefully (*cross your fingers*) I'll hear back from them soon!!

I am having the same problem as you.....found a potential match and am not hearing back from anyone..... also when I try to search for myself...I'm not there.....so I reregistered and I got an email telling me to reply to verify my registration....so I did....but the site keeps telling me that I didn't... I tried several times....it's quite annoying really and can't stop thinking about my potential match....Anyway, I'll let you know if I ever get a response from someone. Good luck.

My email to the webmaster just got bounced back.

So, I guess this site is no longer a good tool to use....what a shame to the thousands of people who registered

Just an update, I did have contact with a person from reunionregistry. They are full of cr** and it's really sad that they pose as a real registry. I can't go into the specifics, but I found a match and I won't play by their rules, so I have to go else where to find my birth mother. Very sad really.
