I know it sounds funny. But I really would like to know if anyone of you has followed up on that funny thought that traveled through your brain one day. "Maybe I should write a letter to Oprah or Maury". I have had that thought myself, but never did anything with it. I have been looking for 5 years with nothing but brick walls. Someday I will be desperate enough to do it.

I wrote to Oprah a few times, and only recieved a form letter response. I'm not sure if shows like those will really tackle the tough searches like the ones where no names are known. They tend to be only interested after you have completed your search so that they can show the emotional first meeting/reunion. Good luck if you pursue it.

I wrote to Oprah and Montel and guess what I haven't heard a word from either one of those shows.

I wrote to them just recently so maybe they need time writing back but they never acknowledged that the received my letters.

Yes, I wrote to Oprah just recently and received an e-mail stating that it takes some time to respond to the many e-mail's they receive daily. It's in God's hands. God bless all of you.

Oprah has those moments of sensitivity that me and my fiancee enjoy sharing.

I too have written Oprah and offered to be a reunion subject, with my bfamily reuniting with me there.

But in that business it takes producers alot of time to engineer these shows. I do not expect a reply yet as millions are moved to write her weekly.

I ALWAYS THINK OF THIS OPTION AROUND THE HOLIDAYS BECAUSE THAT IS WHEN WE THE PEOPLE USUALLY SEE THE SHOWS. A FEW YEARS AGO I WROTE A 2 PAGE LETTER TO SALLY JESSE RAPHAL(SP?) BUT I NEVER SENT IT. I LOVE THE IDEA OF THEM FINDING MY B/MOM AND I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE THAT HARD FOR THEM DUE TO THEIR LARGE #S OF RESOUCES. I KNOW MY BIRTH NAME WHICH IS ARENETTE AND I KNOW THE HOSP. I WAS IN AND MY LAST NAME. IT HASN'T DONE ME ANY GOOD BUT I THINK THEY MIGHT FIND IT USEFUL.
