Nervously waiting
Well it's been just about 2 months since I've sent off to Austin for information regarding my adoption, and I haven't heard anything. The last reply I recieved said it would be at least 6 weeks, since it's taking so long I'm hoping they are finding the information I'm so anciously waiting for. Do anyone know about how long this process really takes?
Have a great day ![]() |

Welcome to the Search and Reunion Message Board!
If it has passed the deadline I would contact the office where you requested your non-id and ask when you can expect the information since it didn't arrive within their agency's designated time line. It always helps to follow-up to make sure that your request didn't get shuffled to the wrong place. I haven't recieved a letter yet, but I did get an email and was told I should get a letter this week, but no information was found at all. So it looks like I've really reached a dead end, I'm so disappointed but really was hoping that I at least find out that someone was in search of me a sibling or somebody.
If there are any other options please let me know. Thanks in advance! |
