I have just received my adoption court papers. I have names, dates of birth, dates of divorce (mother became pregnant by another while separated from husband), address of where they were in 1967. Here is my problem..I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING! I have gone on numberous websites, signed up for one...I still can't find anything! There isn't even records regarding the last name in the state that it says they were born or married in. It's almost like all the information is phony.

Does anyone have any idea of how to go about searching? They were born and divorced (so I assume married as well) in North Dakota. The birth and adoption took place in Minneapolis MN.. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

I am considering hiring a search firm. Does anyone have any information on their legitimacy? My wonderful adoptive parents recently died and I feel so disconnected. Thank you for any help.

Which Search Firm are you inquiring with? Our Search was finished through, Kinsolving.com. They are a totally legitimate firm and very excellent in what they do. It took them fourteen hours to finish my Fiancee's Search, in which took us seven months to gather the information!

So Sorry to hear about the recent deaths of your Adoptive Parents. Four days after my fiancee' was Reunited with his Birth Mom, his Adoptive Mom died. (his Adoptive Father died when he was ten years old) I do feel your pain in all of this. It's very difficult to lose them and want your Biological Family to help relieve some of that pain.
