Exclamation need a search angel!!

I am an adult adoptee living in South Carolina looking for someone to help me with locating my birthfather, who at the time of my conception, at least, lived in NY. I suppose I am looking for a Search Angel... I found my birthmother 4 years ago through this website, and our reunion was definitely one of the happy ones, but she still feels a little uncomfortable telling me my BF's last name...I know his first name is Robert. He married young and had his first child Jonathan, when he was 18 i believe, and then his daughter Jessica the next year. From what I've heard his wife died shortly after, and he eventually remarried and had Marshall, five years after Jessica's birth. While he and my birthmom were a couple he was in the process of divorcing his second wife. He and my birthmom dated for about a year 1984-1985, and parted amicably, but she didn't realize she was pregnant until she was 5 months along, and had since lost touch with him (she was younger and scared of what he would say if she did find him and tell him). Jonathan, Jessica and Marshall were 19, 18, and 14 when she contacted the adoption agency, probably late 1985 or early 1986. I was born March 6, 1986. I know a few other details so if anyone is interested in helping me I would really appreciate an e-mail!!! :-) One other potentially helpful bit of info is that I know Robert was a railway systems analyst with the Long Island Railroad and that his last name, to quote my birthmom, is recognizably German. Thanks in advance to anyone wishing to help.

Ellie Beck
PS I also know his mother was part, if not all, Armenian.
