With more and more adult adoptees and birth parents searching, we thought that this forum would be a great resource for others to share information about the FREE searching resources they’ve discovered along their journey.

Also – more and more Search Angels (Free Searches who do not charge for their services) are joining the ranks and helping those making the journey to connect with those they’re searching for. For those who are gracious enough to provide this service, we offer this forum as a place for them to network with each other, share resources and offer advice to those searching.

Remember – Adoption.com does not allow solicitation of fee based services – if you are contacted by someone claiming to be a search angel and they request a fee for their service then they ARE NOT a search angel and you should report them right away for violation of our Terms of Service.

hello, um...I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but is there anyone who can give me advice or point me in the right direction of finding my birth father? last known location of him was Oregon..

Any advise would help
I have been registered here and have looked up all the unidentifiable info I could. Then 2 years ago who would seem to be my birthmother signed up on the search registry. I have emailed this person numerous times and get no reply. It has been very hard seeing somebody that matches my info and not being able to get any further, thanks for any advise.

Hi. Anyway you could help in a situation where the birth parents are Texans but the birth mom went out of state to deliver? Birth mom was from the San Antonio area, but went to Memphis for prenatal care and delivered a son on 6/10/62. Thanks.

I am an adoptee looking for my birth parents. I beleive she lived in MA but I was born in Florida. Is there a search angel that is able to guide me?!
