I am curious about this as I am in Indiana also. I have my parents adoption 'judgement.' I am curious if my mom can write the superior court, with a notarized signature and get a copy of this docket......it was done through their attorney in Indiana although I was born in Illinois. My info was never sent back to Illinois and I also have a certified copy of my BC..... My second thought is we also have a County Archives here and I have to get more info on that. A friend has gone there and said they are very nice (like one little lady working there)....I was thinking going there and looking for info on my dad's service release and then just kinda looking around to see If I can find the book...
I am thinking of trying thought #2 first then if that doesn't work, number one.... Any thoughts..?

one thing you could try is to get film of the local papers for that time frame and look at the births...you could request non ID info from the state..do you know where the adoption took place ...that would be where you would get the non ID info

Looking for daughter
My daughter was born in Nov. 1987 and adopted in early 1988 in Milwaukee, WI. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis within 36 hours of her life. Is there a way I can find records - adoption or death (it's possible) from then in Wisconsin?
Email is pamela_gifford2001@yahoo.com Thank you, Pam
