Something new to check into if looking.....

I was told that you can write a letter to the Division of Vital records of the state the child was born in and asking them to pass along information about you that you are looking for your family member since we cannot get into sealed records. At least it's a try whether it works or not. My sister was born in PA which is one the hardest to get into to the records there. Good luck.

I have tried the vital office, the city, and the state that my adoption happened it. Sent in all consents and asked for the non-id info. They told me to contact the LDS! They gave me no information- so now I don't know what else to do

Hello,
I live in California, born in California, adopted in same. I did send in notorized requests for non- identifying info and got back 6 pages. A little stuff I didn't know like ages of 1/2 siblings. I am also pursuing the intermediary location of siblings provided.

I was I was able to find any information..... I turn 30 this year and was hoping to locate my birth parents!
Born 24 May 1978 Granada Hills, Ca - Caesarean section

The state would not give me any information since the adoption was through a private section - LDS - Mormon

Vital Records in NJ only helps with State Adoptions -
Adoptions through Private Agencies - they won't release any information.
