I am helping my Aunt look for her daughter placed for adoption. She was born at the University of Washington Hospital. We know the baby was a girl although she was not allowed to see her, she peeked at her through the nursery window. My Aunt was 16 at the time, and she was unable to provide for herself, let alone a baby, and was told by her parents that if she wanted to come home, she had to come alone. She has always wondered about her daughter and would like to know that she grew up having a better life that she could've provided her at that time. I would also like to meet the cousin, I have never met. My Aunt is not computer savvy, so I am aiding her in her search. What would be the first step that she should do. I have given her the Vital Statistics address for Washington. Should she write and get more information from them and how? Could the date of actual birth be different? Please reply!
Thank you for the help, and may God Bless everyone in their quests! ttfn!
