Lightbulb How do I petition the courts?

I recently started the requests for my medical records through Vital Records in Pennsylvania. If this doesn't work, what should I do next? Petition the court?

I'm from California and am not familiar with Pennsylvania law, but here is a link that has some info on petitioning in PA. http://www.geocities.com/tmusso.geo/...nsylvania.html
Good luck.

I'm from California too but I sent a letter and called the department of social services that handles adoptions in my state and got my non-id info. When it came in I called the man who did my report and he gave me the phone number to call and they sent me the forms (the only thing that's arrived quickly) I filled them out and sent them in with a letter. Still hav'nt heard anything. I called a couple of weeks ago and the petition is there waiting to go before the judge and they said check back next week. Don't know if that will help you in your state but that's what I did. Also check the fourm for Penn here in search and reunion. There's often some info on how to go about obtaining records, etc in the various states. Best of luck.
