Smile Contact with my Daughter

I am now in contact with my daughter and could not be any happier than I am right now. She has made me so complete. I have my first born child back in my life. I guess I can't say she is a child now because she is a beautiful young lady, very beautiful. She sent me a picture of herself and she looks just like I did when I was her age. They say it looks like I cloned myself because she looks so much like me. Everyone sees her picture and they all think it is me in the picture but surprise it is not. I can't wait to meet her in person. She is coming to see me at the end of April, just two days after her birthday. We want to give her a birthday party for the first time with us and I hope she likes it. My younger daughter is going to bake her a chocolate cake by scratch. She also wants to do all the decorating for the party. I really think eveyone is looking forward to seeing her and welcoming her into the family. She even has called me mom a couple of times and it puts me on cloud nine. I have a feeling things are going to work out just fine with all of us. She is also married but have no children of her own just yet because they have decided to wait for a while. Just having her back in my life is enough for now. If you would like to know how it all started, she called me out of the blue and while she was talking to me on the phone her husband sent me a picture of her thru my e-mail address. I got to see what she looked like while I was talking to her on the phone. It was the most emotional day of my life shy of when she was born. We are all looking forward in seeing each other. I plan on giving her one of the biggest hugs she has ever had in her whole life. She has already told me that she loves me and I have also told her that I love her, too. We will be able to tell each other face to face. Thank you all for being here to listen to my belly aching about not having her yet. I truly hope things work out for each and everyone of you also. May God bless and keep you all safe and have faith because God does answer prayers. He answered mine and I could not be any happier. """ GOD BLESS YOU ALL"""

Laura, CONGRATULATIONS BIG HUGS COMING YOUR WAY !!!!!

Take it slow, be gentle. I see you've been a member for awhile so I assume you have read up on the stages on reunion. Honeymoon, Time Out Stage, Show Down Stage, Disengagement, and Solidifying. . . . just want you to be prepared.

My bmom found me 8 years ago and it is the most wild emotional rollercoasting to have ever ridden. So best wishes, go into this with your eyes open, and be gentle . . . on her and on yourself.

Lots of love to both of you!

I just got back from seeing my daughter and we had a wonderful time together. I got to show her where she lived before she was taken from me. I found out that it was not far from where she grew up in Virginia. She is alot like me and I am loving every minute of it. She does call me mom so that makes me happy. Her husband in a really good person also and funny. We are like a big happy family and we are loving it.
