Where do I begin in searching for b-mom or family? I may post with isrr but before I do that I wanted to try and get the non id info from the county I was born in or at least my original b-certificate. That is another question I have. Is the original b-certificate and the one my adopted parents have different? I thought that it was the only one ever made. Would my original birth certificate have My b-parents name on it? I went to the county courts web site but I got lost. When I went to childworld it was not helpful. Also I think they need info that I just don't have. I mean I know absolutly nothing. I know the city and state I was born in and the day. Thats it. I don't know the hospital, the adoption agency, names or anything.
Do I even have enough info to start a search? becasue... I live quite a ways from the city I was born in so its not like I can just get up and drive there and look around and start asking questions. Also in the registery...is it asking for the number on the birth certificate I have now. Or the original one that I never knew existed? Was I supposed to use the same user name at the registry that I use here? I assumed that it did not matter. Also, I was reading through here one day and I saw someone write that somene contacted them under false pretences pretending to be long lost family. But she also wrote that she had recently found her
b-daughter I think it was. Does anybody know what I'm talking about or did I just think that up? That is sooo frightening
