My name is Laura Frances "Williams" Crawford and I am searching for my BDaughter who was born on April 26, 1982. Her name is April Nicole Williams, at least that was the name that I gave her when she was born. I just want her to know that I tried to get int contact with her through the DSS and I could not get any information as to where she was at. They flat out refused to even make contact with her adopted parents to let them know that I was looking at all. If she were to ever look in the forums she will be able to find me very easy because I am always searching for her and I will never stop until I have found her.

What state was your daughter born in? You should try registering with the Adoption Registry in that state. If your bio-daughter has also registered you will both be notified.

My daughter was born in Bethsda, Maryland at NNMC Bethesda Naval Hospital. She was adopted out of Arlington, Virginia. I just hope some day she will start looking for me also. I would just love to be able to give her the biggest and tightest hug she has ever had. And also tell her how much I love her and missed her all these years. I wish to god that I would have had the courage to fight the system a little harder and not have given up so easily. My mind was totally gone by the time they got through with me that I just could not fight any longer. They totally wore me down until they got what they wanted which was my daughter. I had no fight left inside me anymore so I did what they wanted me to do and then I hid away for almost 2 years with my grandfather in the woods. I finally started to come around and I got myself together enough to face the world again.

Tonight my daughter called me to let me know she was allright. I finally got to hear what she sounds like after so many years. She sent me a picture of her also and she is so beautiful. She looks just like I thought she would. I could not be any happier than I am tonight with one exception getting to see her face to face. I have waited for this all her life and half of mine hoping to have her back in my life again. Well I had better go for now. May God be with all who is searching for their loved one and hope that they will be with them soon. Good luck in everyones future. I hope that it turns out as well as mine has.
